Nach Vertriebsvertretungen in der Schweiz, Singapur und China hat die, in Klein-Winternheim bei Mainz ans\u00e4ssige ATEC GmbH, ein Joint Venture mit der US Firma Gemco Valve gegr\u00fcndet.<\/p><p class=\"lead\">Seit 1989 entwickelt, konstruiert und fertigt die ATEC GmbH kundenspezifische Industrie-Kugelh\u00e4hne f\u00fcr die Chemie-, Pharmazie- und Nahrungsmittelindustrie, vor allem f\u00fcr extreme Anwendungsbereiche wie hohe Dr\u00fccke, hohe Temperaturen und abrassive Medien. Gemco Valve fertigt seit 1948 \u00e4hnliche Industrieventile, jedoch spezialisiert auf Kugelsegmentventile f\u00fcr Pulver, Feststoffe und Suspensionen.<\/p><p class=\"lead\">Beide Unternehmen entwickeln und fertigen Ventile f\u00fcr einige der anspruchsvollsten Anwendungen unter Verwendung von korrosionsbest\u00e4ndigen Legierungen wie Edelstahl, Hastelloy und Titan. Die meisten Pulverprozesse erfordern Ventile zwischen DN100 und DN400. Diese Gr\u00f6\u00dfen kann ATEC mit den Gemco Kugelsegmentventile nun anbieten. Einige feine, freiflie\u00dfende Pulver wie z.B. Silikaten in der Solar- oder auch in anderen Branchen, nutzen Ventile in DN15 bis DN80 \u2013 Dieser Bereich wird weiterhin mit ATEC Sonder-Kugelh\u00e4hne bedient.<\/p><p class=\"lead\">ATEC wurde \u00fcber unterschiedliche Fachzeitschriften und Internetrecherche auf Gemco Valve aufmerksam. &#8222;Wir verfolgen Gemco schon seit einigen Jahren sehr genau. Nach einigen Recherchen basierend auf ihren Ruf, die Qualit\u00e4t ihrer Produktlinie und Ihrer Firmenphilosophie, stellten wir schnell fest, dass Gemco die Art von Unternehmen sein k\u00f6nnte, um eine Bindung zu schmieden&#8220;, sagten Michael und Andreas Hampel, ATEC Gesellschafter Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer des familiengef\u00fchrten Unternehmens.<\/p><p class=\"lead\">&#8222;Wir waren gespannt, als wir von ATEC geh\u00f6rt haben und es war toll zu wissen, dass die Arbeit, die wir in Middlesex USA verrichten, einen guten Eindruck auf ein Unternehmen der gleichen Branche hinterlassen hat&#8220;, sagte Gemco Valve Gesellschafter Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer, Jim Lenihan. &#8222;Also haben auch wir einige Recherchen bez\u00fcglich ATEC betrieben und entschieden, dass eine Zusammenarbeit funktionieren k\u00f6nnte&#8220;, sagte Lenihan. &#8222;Die Idee, die Kr\u00e4fte zu b\u00fcndeln statt zu konkurrieren, passen in beide unserer Gesch\u00e4ftsmodelle, um die Produktionseffizienz in einer Art und Weise zu maximieren, die f\u00fcr beide Seiten von Vorteil ist.&#8220;<\/p><p class=\"lead\">Im M\u00e4rz statteten die ATEC- Inhaber Gemco einen Besuch ab, um Jim n\u00e4her kennenzulernen und den Gemco Betrieb pers\u00f6nlich zu begutachten. &#8222;Es war gut zu sehen, dass Gemco Produkte fertigt, die unseren hohen Anforderungen an Qualit\u00e4t entsprechen&#8220;, sagt A. Hampel und f\u00fcgt an. &#8222;Weil wir beide kleine Unternehmen sind, sind wir flexibel. Das ist ein unheimlich wichtiger Faktor unserer Produktion und schnellen Lieferung von Sonderarmaturen. Aufgrund unser hohen Flexibilit\u00e4t haben wir gegen\u00fcber gr\u00f6\u00dferer Firmen einen entscheidenden Vorteil.\u201c<\/p><p class=\"lead\">Die Reise f\u00fchrte zur Entscheidung die Zusammenarbeit voranzutreiben. Die ATEC Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer Michael und Andreas Hampel sowie Gemco Valve Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer Jim Lenihan vereinbarten, dass ihr technisches Know-how und langj\u00e4hrige Erfahrung kombiniert, ein Mehrwert f\u00fcr den Benutzer bringen wird. Gemco und ATEC haben die gleiche Philosophie von Entwicklung und Herstellung von Ventilen f\u00fcr anwendungsspezifische Anforderungen und haben viele Herausforderungen mit \u00e4hnlichen L\u00f6sungen bereits erfolgreich gel\u00f6st.<\/p><p class=\"lead\">\u201eWir sind froh, eine Firma mit gleicher Philosophie und Anspruch an Qualit\u00e4t gefunden zu haben\u201c, sagte Andreas Hampel. \u201e Ziel ist es unser Produktportfolio im Bereich bis DN600 auszubauen sowie Kugelsegmentventile speziell f\u00fcr Feststoffe, Pulver und Suspension unseren Kunden anzubieten\u201c.<br \/>Mit dieser Kooperation k\u00f6nnen wir Branchen, in denen wir \u00fcber 25 Jahre Erfahrungen haben, mit zus\u00e4tzlichen hochqualitativen Kugelsegmentventilen abdecken.
